You wouldn't be the first to try.

You can say that Alabama fans are overly romantic about our football program and you'd be right. The difference is that we aren't naive and we don't take ourselves seriously enough as people and as a school to brag about an Alabama Creed, or the "Alabama Spirit", or some other mystical force that makes us so much better as people than fans of other colleges the way many Auburn fans do. You don't hear other ADs around the SEC giving pre-game speeches talking about the "Arkansas mind" or "Arkansas heart", or the "Georgia heart" or the "Georgia spirit" the way David Housel (for example) constantly about Auburn while he was AD. That's the kind of self righteous attitude that drives many up the wall.

A broken jaw would have demanded a lot of attention in an ER in New Orleans?
No, we see a lot of broken jaws in the ER a couple of days after someone got in a drunken altercation. And FWIW Tulane's ER would tell you to follow up but the LSU hospital can wire your jaw there

so what you're saying is becuase we (and you've said the "internet fans before) don't do it your way you're not going to get over it?
Probably time to stop taking things so seriously, and concenring yourself with all things auburn.
