Common man, you guys have been saying this for years now. Saban has had 3 starting QB's at Bama...Wilson, McElroy and AJ and after each of them graduated it was the same song and dance form our rivals..."oh no, won't be able to replace the QB". And every time we upgrade and win titles. It takes more than a warm body at QB, it takes a smart guy who knows how to manage a game and make the smart throws, but we don't need future NFL 1st rounders to make this thing run, that has been proven time and time again.

Yeah, you can definitely see the huge arm and his athletic ability. We're talking about upside. His footwork is average at best, and he throws off his back foot a lot. He's not a finished product, and we're not acting like he is. We're simply excited about the upside.
