I sat behind a couple of fairly decent Bama fans yesterday... a pretty classy couple imo

Look, there is no way to defend it. It is pure classlessness to cheer "we just beat the hell outta you" after each win. That's what you teach your kids to do and they will be just as classless when they grow up. It is an organized cheer, not a few renegade drunk students. It is grown men and women.

complaining about "class" is loser talk. It reminds me of people crying about the opposing team running up the score.
If you don't want Bama fans to brag or play a goofy fight song, then beat them. To the victors go the spoils, we need to stop acting like a bunch of pussies.

Grown men and women? You don't think grown men and women LSU fans say anything wrong? I just get so tired of hearing the term classless. Someone is always going to find something to complain about. Do you guys not do a you suck cheer or something?

I've already posted probably the most gracious congratulatory post that you will see to Bama fans and wished them good luck in the SECC. So who's crying?
We're not even discussing the game. We're discussing whether you think it is classy to ridicule an opponent after every win and whether you think that is a good thing to teach your kids. You obviously think it is ok so that is your opinion.

You'd think, but I will never mark down a loss before the game is played. Especially in the Iron Bowl.
ETA: See 2002 Iron Bowl for example. Alabama was #9 and heavily favored. Auburn was unranked and was playing their FOURTH STRING running back Tre Smith and sophomore quarterback Jason Campell who everyone wanted benched, and we were only 7-4. We ended up winning 17-7.

ALL schools have stupid classless fans but only Bama orchestrates it.
Does it really serve your purpose to say we are classless but so are other fans?

That makes no sense so I will respond in kind. Perhaps you would be better served by attending monster truck rallies rather than big time football rivalry games. Oh, did you think that Bama would only sing that cheer after beating a big time rival, lol?

Oh I completely agree. I'm definitely not looking past AU. There's plenty of motivation for Tubby and his players to ruin our season so hopefully we aren't looking ahead to UF.

Not too mention the last bama win in 2001. A sorry arse bama team came into JH as a dog against a pretty decent AU team and pounded the shite out of AU in the worst beatdown in 3 decades: 31-7.

I didn't see anything classless yesterday. All of the Bama fans I saw ( I sit in the south end ) were just celebrating and having fun, no taunting or anything. They know they were lucky to get out of there with a win.

frick you....I've never said anything to a cheesedick bammer fan but ROLL TIDE and they call me all night...Roses are Red, violents are blue, we beat you so frick you. Yea sounds like class to me......frick Bama and my son went there..........cheesedicks I say
and 1 of them was a 1 tooth Auburn fan...literally
