He did not throw the team under the bus. Anything Hugh does or says is automatically spun as negative because of what happened at Ole Miss and this culture loves negativity. It is also to hurt Auburn with recruiting.
Just this week Ole Miss and Kiffin attack soley on the recruitment of Knight. Kane can’t sell Ole Miss as a whole so resorts to takimg cheap shots at Auburn and pulling Wallace out of the wood work. Good for Hugh not to engage.
Hugh knows it, Auburn knows it as well as recruits and their families.
The locker room is as positive as ever. The team, staff and boosters are all aligned. This team will play well Saturday.
