no i'm just confused why a person in Cali is posting on this forum. i live amongst SEC school fans.
i guess i don't really want to argue with a UCLA fan over Clemson vs SEC. lol

Clemson's certainly not going to win it all or be in playoffs every season, just like every other program.
uhh, there is in fact one program that has been in the playoffs every year.
And before you try to spin away from it, your comment was "win it all or be in the playoffs every year.

Irony is ironical.

that's only due to SEC being historically down as a conference tho.

i'm actually discussing my program tho, he's not discussing UCLA. and obviously UCLA not playing SEC teams as much. lol
he's whiteknighting for various SEC teams against a Clemson fan. lol pretty weird.

Oh yeah. That's also why Alabama has won 4 national titles in 8 years. Well, except for the fact the opposition in those games didn't play in the SEC.

you won 4 national ti tles b/c it was easy to get there, although 1 of them they shouldn't have been let in.
if bama is basically an automatic bid out of the SEC every year, you can't say it is a competitve conference right now.

Oh but you just said back on another page that winning national titles is a program accomplishment, and not due to the lack of strength of the conference you play in.
gooney goo goo

that's right, nothing i said contradicts that.
you the one who keeps making it about conference. my point has always been the best team may play in a weaker conference.

I don't keep making it about conference. You said every other team (though you meant "no other team") has made the playoffs every year, and I reminded you that one team has.
Posted on 3/24/17 at 9:00 pm to Huddie Leadbetter
my point was in general no team makes the playoffs or wins the natty every year.
this is in response to the premise that Clemson must basically win it all every year or it is a 'flash in the pan', etc. there are a lot of programs competing in football.
u'll see posts on here depicting Clemson as a loser program if it has 3 or 4 losses next year, even 2.

Clemson has 6 straight seasons of 10 wins or more homey since Boyd's first season.
They're in the shifty ACC. There is a reason why the term "clemsoning" existed for a long damn time... lol

Other than the last handful of years, Clemson has been a loser program.

ok, you guys have narratives. the clemsoning thing was actually started by gamecocks.

doesn't make much sense given it has the most ACC titles, and a national title in 1981 and was very good in 80s and early 90s.
you don't know much about clemson, u prob a teenager.
auburn has had several losing and mediocrer seasons recently.

Clemson wasn't "very good" in the 1980's or the 90s. Nobody gives a shite about ACC titles either.

fact don't back that up. a top 10 winniest program in the 80s.
correction, you don't care about ACC titles b/c u are a SEC fanboy. lol
your team is not automatically awesome b/c it plays in the SEC as u seem to believe

the def. of Clemsoning appears to be simply losing a game. obviously every teams loses sometimes.
