I must say I agree…..the first time I made it down I was stunned that all buildings looked like they were all low bid on design and construction.

But, Alabama Grads make $60,000 per year.
Vs $90,000.
I don't understand the problem.
$30,000 per year is $900,000 with government bonds in ten years.
Auburn Grads will be millionaires in 10 years, whilst Alabama Grads will not sniff that money for 20 years.
Simple Math.
I congratulate all new Auburn Freshman to the Plains in January!!!
Let's do this!!!

I knew someone who got a 12 on the ACT and graduated from the barn.

Don’t believe that for one second. I’d be surprised if you knew anyone who went to any college.
The average GPA for those admitted early last month was a 4.27 and average ACT was a 29.8.

No it didn’t.
And even if he did he’d be a merit scholar at Alabama

Bama takes HS who make below 18 on their ACT and places them under special entrance exemptions. The are essentially on probation from day one, but they get in school. We all know what happens afterwards. These students do not count toward reported numbers for freshman classes.

Very far from a diploma mill.
Still taking 5,500 Freshman per year.
Math and Engineering, my Baws.
Get over yourselves in Texas.

That secret list was proven true just last week, so keep trying. Having the Mike Gundy story leak this week about pursuing SEC jobs was just piling on the Cults denials.

Spot on. The GROUNDSKEEPING is great. The buildings themselves, not so much. As is typical with many land grant institutions that have strings attached to the money, a lot of buildings look like they were stamped out by the green desk architects in the FSGLB (Federal Department of Government Looking Buildings) circa 1968.
This isn't a knock on Auburn per se. There are a LOT of schools that have this same blocky brick building design motif.
