BTW, you might want to take a look at LSU's 2011 recruiting class throughout the next year. I would suggest trying not to shite yourself afterward.

In all honesty what has a top recruiting class gotten Les Miles? Really...everyone knows the 2007 NC was with Saban's guys...

Domination of the auburn fighting cheesedicks.

But I agree with your premise, that doesn't mean terribly much at all to us.

We most likely won't this year. We will be better and should win a few more games but the 07 and 08 recruiting classes have left a huge hole in our roster and it will take more than 1 highly ranked recruiting class to overcome it.

I agree.

LSU only beat a Chizik led football team once...as for the previous staff, who cares? I have a feeling Chizik will be 1-1 after this year with Miles leading the Bayou Bengals....

Because the game is at Auburn I think it will be a close LSU win. Auburn plays pretty well at home. Auburn will get crushed at B.D. this year with 101,000 fans screaming rammer jammer while Cam Newton cries like Tim Tebow....

good job. you got a slot reciever from LA. reed was a reciever i'd have liked to have ,but he wasn't the most important in-state recruit to lsu. actually we needed line help more than 5'10 175 lb recievers

Andre Smith, Ingram(maybe and that's up for debate)

Have you been under a rock the past year? Andre is in the NFL and Ingram was our offense for a good part of the season

FIFY...
Les Miles proves yearly talent does not necessarily = wins.

Prediction: Auburn beats LSU

work on your reading comprehension.

andre would have been a critical loss in 08 (as seen by the sugar bowl performance) and ingram in 09 is "debatable" because it can be argued that trent would have picked up right where he left off (as shown in the iron bowl)

Auburn should be better this year. The Iron Bowl should be a really tough game. Auburn needs to get it done this season though, or they'll have to wait two more before they're ready again.

So you're saying that losing one of our starting linebackers that is just as talented as the one who won a Butkus this year didn't hurt us at all? We had to sub in like 3 guys to replace him.

What exactly did this cost you in terms of wins, recognition, etc.?

I'm not saying we didn't do a good job of replacing him but it really hurt our pass rush when he went down which hurt us in some games (Auburn,Texas, etc.)

so how is auburn gonna compete for the west again?

It's not going to hurt any that Auburn is the only program in the SEC that didn't have any changes to the coaching staff. That also says something about how well this new staff that Chizic put together is clicking. Things could not be better right now on "The Plains."
