Saban had won championships prior to his stint in the NFL. Rhule hasn't even beaten a ranked team.

Saban had won 1 at LSU. In 2003. When the SEC was much weaker than now. Georgia won the east with 3 losses. And Alabama was 4-9. And beat a joke Oklahoma with a soft schedule.

It’s not like winning the SEC now.

Rhule succeeded at two CFB programs and was attractive to the NFL

So yeah, I'd like to talk to him. Who knows if he's a good fit, but it seems silly not to have him on the list.

As a Panthers fan, I think Fatt Fhule is a joke.

I’m not comparing the two but Dolphins fans said the same thing about Saban when he left them for Bama. I think you have a biased outlook of Rhule because he wasn’t successful for you team. I personally blame the GM more than Rhule. You have to have a good QB to win in the NFL and they the GM kept picking up QBs from the garbage pile. The panthers had a chance to trade up to three spots to 4 in the 2020 draft to get Tua or Heirbert and didn’t do it. Then in 2021, the panthers gm punted Fields and Mac for Jaycee Horn when QB was their biggest gap. I don’t blame the GM this season though. The 2022 draft was the worst skilled position draft and worst QB draft on paper in the last 10-15 years. Not one QB was NFL ready.

Rhule would be a great x’s and o’s hire for y’all. The only issue is Auburn needs a guy with a SEC recruiting pipeline now. If Rhule is confident in who he can nab from the portal to fill holes now while he’s building that pipeline though, he could be a great hire for Auburn.
