i doubt southdowns hurt the crowds all that much.

Well...we can agree to disagree.
I've ridden in Spanish town 6 years in a row...every year we pregamed the night before, because it's the biggest party of the year. Unfortunately I'm out of town on business, so I couldn't be part of the festivities. Spanish town has become one of the biggest parades of Mardi Gras "float wise" and the biggest parade in BR. People love to celebrate this great holiday.

from what i remember spanishtown has always been the biggest in br.
for being the capitol city br has a extremely weak mardi gras with spanish town being the only real notable parade.

yea, it is pretty weak. It would be nice if BR had some better parades. Spanish town is the only good parade in the city....

IMO they need to have a big one tonight, spanish town saturday and then a big one sunday.

Great crowd tonight despite Mardi gras and less than great weather. Tomorrows weather looks awful.
