I didn't even make the connection that it could be bad until roadie said something. I'd always associated it with raccoons too.
But then, things like that tend to go over my head.

Hey!!!
I know... I have been so unbelievably busy. And I'm gonna be so unbelievably busy. And I locked myself out of my email, so I had to start a new one.

one thing that can't be disputed is that this reflects very negatively on Sumlin and his staff. Not just this story but the culmination of all of them. It looks to the public like Sumlin has done NOTHING to control Manziel. Not even make him shut down his Twitter.

The autograph "session" described in the quote below from March is what the NCAA is investigating. Manziel signed stuff at the airport and then went to his house the next day to sign more stuff for "troops in the middle east." The guy turned out to be the autograph broker referenced in the Outside the Lines report.
quote:
Manziel related an incident in an airport where a man in a military uniform, who said he was heading to the Mideast, asked his son to sign items.
Later, the Manziels were surprised to see some of the items online with stickers. (Stickers or holograms are added to items when they are authenticated.) Paul Manziel said they were unhappy to see the items for sale and says his son "hardly signs" these days.

Just give em this if anything is said..
"A COON'S AGE - Meaning 'a very long time,' a coon's age is an Americanism recorded in 1843 and probably related to the old English expression 'in a crow's age,' meaning the same. The American term is an improvement, if only because the raccoon usually lives longer -- up to 13 years in the wild - than the crow." From the "Encyclopedia of Word and Phrase Origins" by Robert Hendrickson (Facts on File, New York, 1997), Page 16
This is why I love you.

Because the less he signs, the more he knows each autograph he sells will be.

Stop trying to make this thread something it's not. There will never be another ATPB. The OP was more than just an emoticon. That's why it went on forever.
What is ATPB? And Im sorry if this has been asked but what was the Cam Newton thread like? How fast did that thing blow up?

Have you even read the articles about the investigation?

"Outside the Lines" that Tieman approached Manziel on Jan. 6,when he landed at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to attend the game between Alabama and Notre Dame the next day.
After that meeting, three sources said, Manziel, accompanied by his friend and personal assistant Nathan Fitch, visited Tieman's residence and signed hundreds of items in the main room of the apartment despite the fact that there were many people in the room. Before Manziel left South Florida, after taking in the title game, he signed hundreds of autographs more, one source said.
That's not March

Nothing like the disgrace of selling your own autograph to send the world into mayhem.

The article I LINKED was from March. The autograph session occurred at the Ft. Lauderdale airport on January 6. A&M investigated it before that original story, I linked, broke.
