So, what's the answer?

The answer is that they should not be behind Alabama

Agreed.

I haven't seen a coherent argument to the contrary.

Just a lot of "rah, rah, eyeball test" bullshite.

That's because you literally cannot make an argument for Alabama to be above Florida.

Thankfully this is the last season the BCS really exists in it's true form.

Rank them ahead of us, who gives a frick? If Bama wins the sec championship we would jump them anyway.

This is not true whatsoever. Florida would likely maintain a significant lead in the computers.. it would be up for the human voters to to overwhelmingly put Alabama ahead.

Facts are facts.. and it would be up to voters to decide.. SEC champ, or resume. It would be their decision to make. I suspect they would vote Alabama in.

Even if Bama beats Georgia handily, they will be 2-1 against the Top 15.

Florida is 4-1 vs. the Top 15.

It's a fact that even with a win over Georgia.. Alabama would still be behind Florida in the computers. Florida has an enormous lead.

Human voters would almost certainly put Alabama over Florida in such a manner that would put Alabama in the game.

I'm positive all this is irrelevant, SEC champ vs ND.. right?
Sorry to Fla, you didn't win the one game you had to, I get your argument, SOS aside, you played UGA and lost. why do you feel you should be in BCSCG ahead of us? forget Alabama they are in the west, nothing fla can do about where they finish.
