So, whats Georgia's shortcomings? Im told Kirby is a great HC and he brings in all the talent a team can ask for.. yet, no NC banners are hanging from the stadium

The bowl system has been broken. Playoff Era killed bowls. The only bowls that matter are the Playoffs...nobody gives a shite about any of the other bowls and none of the other bowls are selling out.

Your team hasn't made the CFP yet. You haven't even won the SEC in over a decade. You have no room to talk about a lack of championships in the current era when you couldn't even beat sorry arse Georgia to win the East the last couple of years.

I’m sure you do. But outside of the Playoffs, the rest of the games have little to no meaning. It’s extra practices and reps for next years kids. The NY6 glory is gone.

10 years ago...NY6 bowls were huge, but the BCS bowl games were struggling then. Playoff era changed everything. UF vs Virginia, UGA vs Baylor, Bama Vs. Michigan, Auburn vs. Minnesota...every SEC team was by far better than their competition. At least the BCS era allowed the bowls to give invites.

I didn’t give crap about last years Sugar Bowl. It was Playoff or bust. Same as this year. Last year we had a team fielded and sucked it up. This year we lost 13+ and won...great. But it’s all about getting into the playoffs...

What exactly has Mullen done that's so much more meaningful than those two? I thought the standard for Florida fans was at least to win the SEC.

if you ain’t in it, you can’t win it. The system now is to be in the final 4...I know it’s crazy...but finishing second in the East and 4-6TH in the SEC and saying a NY6 bowl is satisfying is a joke.

Doesn't take a genius to see the bad state this team was in on his arrival. You are what your record says you are and 4 wins means youre not a good team. That shite doesn't fix itself overnight. 10 wins the first year and 11 now means improvement is happening.
For everything Richt wasn't as a title winner, he was a good recruiter had good players there when Kirby arrived. Our OL has 1 4 star player starting and he's from DM's first cycle. Our front 7 this season were mostly 3 star players. The fact we won 11 games and were in the ones we lost vs more talented teams says a lot.

The whole 4 win thing is overblown, too. You had like half of your team out for the year and that season was sandwiched between 10-4, 9-4, 10-3 and 11-2.

And in that time frame, how many UGA/SEC fans screamed Mac was winning the East with Booms players on Defense? They left over those 2 years and it finally imploded. Other than DB, what top player have we had the past 2 seasons? Im talking top range of the draft.
2016 We lost to Bama in the SECCG 54-16. FSU 31-13 Arky 31-10
2015 we lost to Bama 29-15 FSU 27-2 and Mich 41-7

The past 2 years, absolutely. Yes, expectations will rise from here but we realize what this team was when DM arrived.
