He basically only said this over and over.
Multiple witnesses, but NEVER a 3rd party witness. They have stated as much. I think the rumor of the marine having family in the DA is proving true.

A friend of mine in law school is working in DA office this summer, and he said the dudes gramps was really close to Hillar and several others in the office. Just what i heard, so not sure how true

Forget about the DA comment, why must this case have some impartial 3rd party witness to make it all true? One side will depose he was kicked by JJ, the other (JJ's posse, mind you) will depose he was innocent. Due process will commence by the DA's OFFICE (not some random police rook) and a judge will preside over the whole shabang.
They will either walk or plead down. It is what it is.

He's also an LSU grad and Tiger football fan.

I know pretty much nothing of the legal system and will not pretend to . Last time I did that It got me into a mess of trouble.
I do know the Marine hired a Civil lawyer and since that is the case he intends to sue. A normal person would hire a criminal lawyer for a case, but because LSU is involved he is gonna try to tie the players to LSU.
Not that said I'm wondering if the DA will even accept the charges. Lots of layers to peel back on this one before it's all said and done.

Fwiw, I know someone working on the case directly and they know about the DA connection. Goes back to Hillar's dad and the marine's grandpa.
