Anyway it was a person working in the AD who made it clear, BMFP is actually much worse than even the worse shite any of the public ever heard. It was shocking, yet comforting at the same time. Dude is really fricked up.

The kind of fricked up he is doesn't go away. He might be able to keep it in check for a couple of years while he grovels for another job, but as soon as he starts to feel success, he'll go back to acting the way he's always acted. It's pathological. Anyone who is dumb enough to let his actions get in the way of his job like that was bound to fail.

Yeah, this is someone I had talked to for a while, and someone who still has a job, and little to no axe to grind. Just saying, dude is fricked up, and a lot of the vitriol from the national press before and after was warranted, but they never really could say some of the worst stuff.

Even though this has sucked for y'all, if he is a bad as you are implying, sounds like y'all got lucky he just fricked up in his personal life and got the boot before his bad character caused him to do something shady with recruiting or the program and got Arky in trouble as well.
Y'all will end up being better off in the long run if his character is that low and his judgement is that poor.
Would have only been a matter of time before that eventually bled into his job.

Yeah, I agree. That's why the conversation was comforting. This was a person who suddenly seemed really relaxed, and relieved. And felt like they could speak freely.

All of this is totally predictable given the personality. It'd be hard to be well adjusted when your dad is someone who sees people as nothing more than fuel to his ego.
Is his wife staying with him? It's sad to think about how little she thinks she deserves to put up with that kind of person. Or worse yet, to have put up with it for a lifestyle. I hope that's not the case.
