How stupid are you??? A&M band director contacted Arkansas during the summer to coordinate. At that time he was told the Aggie Band would not be able to march at halftime because they had other presentations that would be going on.
A&M made the decision months ago not to go because of the cost of taking the band, buses, support staff, etc.. and not march at halftime. It is a MARCHING BAND after all. If it was a "sitting on their arse band" they might have still gone.
Do you really think that Texas A&M only contacted Arkansas last week to ask for tickets for the band?? Seriously??

Seems we are fitting in rather nicely. You guys still whining about our coming in, saying "hey I think we'd like that LSU game to end the season" and having it happen a year in to our arrival?
Fact is, TAMU is far more important to the SEC than Arkansas. The truth will sink in over time.

They tried to reschedule the trip for Ole Miss, but, having dispersed our tickets to TMF members, Ole Miss wasn't able to cobble together enough tickets for the band to make that one (A&M would have paid, Ole Miss just couldn't provide them on short notice, understandably).
