The real truth is that Arkansas stopped taking their shitty band on the road when they went to the SEC and it got more expensive, so since they aren't concerned about reciprocation, they don't want the A&M band showing them up. Simple as that.
I understand when schools say they need the entire halftime for homecoming, but this BS about needing the entire halftime for run of the mill recognitions is a sham. If Arkansas does 10 solid minutes of recognitions at halftime, all that's going to do is ensure that there are long lines at the concessions and restrooms.

I feel bad for these poor Arkansas Hall of Famers or whatever. Most of the stadium will be cleared out by half so I doubt many will get to share in their undeniable glory

Spoken like a true fricktard who has never been to an Arkansas game. We do these fricking things at EVERY frickING HALFTIME. People bitch about it. Some people like it, some don't. But we've been "honoring" people for at least 15 years.

At the end of the day, the only people that really give a shite about seeing someone being presented something on the field are parents, family, and friends. So, the other 60,000 will head for the exits.
A visiting band from any school would be much more entertaining than presentations. Schools have to do what they have to do. No problem with it at all.
I am sitting in section 114 row 55 right in the middle of Arkansas season ticket holders. No matter what happens at halftime, I fully anticipate having my feet propped up on the seat in front of me by the end of the 3Q. Will take a photo and post.

Aggies are also bummed out, because the Razorbacks aren't allowing Reveille at the game either. In fact, they don't allow any live mascots on their home turf.

Considering college halftimes are 20 minutes, that's literally impossible. Considering the Arkansas band will likely take up about 12-15 minutes of that time, using about 5 minutes to honor some people who contributed something of value to the university is in no way shocking.
