Actually Vegas doesn’t predict any winner...just a betting line to halve the population of bets.

I know so many people who don't grasp this concept, even after it's explained. Your post is a breath of fresh air.

Don’t get me wrong...analytics of how a team performs play a big part. However...there are very smart analysts on how the population will bet. They meet in the middle...and there’s your line.

I want to bet AM -21, but will stay away from it. Having said that, AM will boat race Ark.

A&M is very reliable against the spread this year.

NW State 45 points: won by 52
Clemson -11 points: lost by 2
ULM 26 points: won by 38
Alabama -27 points: lost by 22

Just going off of averages, if the spread is 21, A&M wins by 30.

I think Arkansas covers on a back door TD or field goal.

Yep. Since I don't have time to watch all of the games, like most, I try to find the lines that I think have a lot of public perception built into them and go the other way. It's very easy to take advantage of this strategy on Thursday and Monday night NFL games.

Do you two fan bases like doing it at AT&T or would you rather home games? I don't like neutral site for conference games. Or OOC games. Just bowl games.

I can't stand it personally, partly because we play a home game in LR every year. Every other year we're playing two home games away from Fayetteville which just sounds stupid. The game in Jerry World helps some with exposure/recruiting I suppose, wouldn't have known with Bielema though because he didn't recruit TX hard.
