Our wr's are way better than they were last year.

Based on what, they were good last year, and you've played Troy, Southwest Mo State, and New Mexico.

Stats are about the same so far against scrubs. Not saying they aren't really good, but way better???

You know your team better than I do, obviously. But can you explain how your team is about the same as last year offensively? That doesn't seem accurate to me. GMac, Ingram, JJones, etc, etc. Those are big losses. The offense has looked pretty pedestrian to me from the 1.5 games I've been able to watch.

Why is your defense way better?

Because you have played scrubs this year. Not saying they are not good, but way better???

I think Adams and Wright are about the same, slightly improved from experience. Childs is obviously not the same player. Hamilton is noticeably better. He's filled out more and is more explosive in short bursts versus only have straight-line speed.

The best thing about the WR core is we're deeper there now. Herndon, Wade, Humphrey, etc, etc are getting some good PT and seem to be making the most of it.

Touche, but maybe the pressure caused the bad decision all I was saying. But I see where you showed the no-blitz one. Who knows. Look forward to Saturday night meltdown no matter who wins.

Offense really wasn't that great last year. Lacy and Richardson combined are performing about as well as Ingram and Richardson did. Gmac hurts cause of experience, but McCarron has made some throws that GMac never could have. JJones is a big one loss, but we've had SEVERAL younger guys step up to take his place catching the ball. Deandre White, Kenny Bell, etc. And our TE's are playing much better on the receiving end.

Overall performance seems about the same as last year. Coming into the season I was expecting improved Oline, and probably concerns at receiver and quarterback. But now it's more like some minor issues at quarterback, Receivers look great as far as a Bama O, just haven't seen the improvement on the Oline I expected.

Based on what

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that you guys blindly thought Richardson and Lacy would be better this year before the season even started. It's a two way street.

If it wasn't for Sims turning the ball over we'd also have two shut outs.

The world would end if that happened. The best you might get is "let's just wait til we play and see what happens."

arkie fans have already stooped to a collective "well, at least we beat lsu almost half the time" argument. Thats conceding defeat.

This is actually the first (All SEC teams) message board I have spent much time on. Most of my time has been spent on Bama boards where everybody bitches about the grass at BDS and McElwain's playcalling and what music should be played in the stadium. It is actually pretty cool seeing the different perspectives (flamers aside)
