Arkansas fans what do you guys expect from your team this? Will the running game be that much better or only slightly better? How is the defense going to look?
Arkansas vs Auburn will be one of the best games, power run offense against the prolific auburn offense.

Not an arky fan, but I think their schedule gives them a big disadvantage... I'd say they lose 3-4 games this year..

Running game will be about the same. Definitely not worse, maybe a bit better. Passing game will be a good bit better with Allen being a senior with Henry, Sprinkle and all of the new receivers to throw to. Defense overall should be as good or better. Losing Spaight, Flowers and Philon sucks but literally every other position will be upgraded, plus it will be Robb Smith's second year with the players. Our DL depth is fantastic and our secondary will be better than it's been in a loooong time. LB is thin but Ellis at Will will be fine and Hackett at Mike looks like a beast. Josh Williams at Sam is a question mark.

For arkansas to take the next step, I think it comes down to the defense coming on strong and a more consistent pass game. Allen is a good QB

It is, but I think this team will capitalize and close the gaps. Couldn't do it last year with all the closes losses

Until proven otherwise, Allen is a mediocre QB... maybe he gets getter in 2015... Maybe not.

I think how successful Arkansas's season will go will be determined if they beat Tennessee. Both had eerily similar finishes last year and carry a lot of momentum into the next year. They each got progressively better as the season went on in the 2nd half. IMO the winner of that game will go onto having a more successful season. Both will have to show that they can improve in a week-to-week basis, minimize mental errors, and not get complacent

Same could be said about Johnson at Auburn. Has the talent but hasn't had to lead auburn to any wins. But we shall see.
