Are UK fans worried about Coach Cal?

The two schools he has been at have both been hit heavily with NCAA sanctions AFTER he leaves them. Not outright saying he's sleazy, but where there's smoke . . . well, you know.
To UK fans, are you worried the same thing will happen to your program?
Is a national title worth being hit by NCAA sanctions?

2nd thread in the last 12 hours started by LSU fan.
Worried - no. Reasons - countless.
We have the best compliance officer in the country - Sandy Bell.
Enjoy a good Conference win for the SEC.

We want to see any team that is better than us go down in flames. You must know this by now.
Was just wondering because of the track record.

How can you honestly not be worried by this?

I don't think Cal will have to "skirt" (UT pun) the rules at UK like he has done in the past. UK sells itself.
I would only be concerned about the one and done type of players and whether or not team chemistry can be maintained.
Honestly, a lot of these one and done type of players could consider UK a minor league of the NBA.
It's what sickens me the most about college basketball right now.

From what I understand, Camby took money from an agent while at UMASS. That's not the coaches fault. And the most baffling to me is that Rose was cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse to play. Then, a year later they come back and say that their not sure it was legit. Again, doesn't sound like Cal's fault. Any coach is going to play any player if the NCAA clears them to play. Then they go and put sanctions on Memphis for their frick up. The NCAA is the one that needs to be on probation.

Cal is the master of keeping himself clean, so as long as he's at UK, they'll be fine. It's the people he associates with that are suspect. And he won't let past mistakes happen again.
If I was a UK fan, I'd root for the Cavs. If they don't make a strong run this year, LeBron will get Cal to be his coach.

If you worry about it you can't enjoy what's happening. If he is cheating he will get what he deserves, but I'm not going to sit here and not enjoy what we have going on right now. Hopefully he plays by the rules!!

that is because they punish the schools and not the coach......If you sleep with dogs you will eventually get fleas...

Although many speculate Cal operates in a so-called gray area, you can color this guy unworried.
Think about it this way, would the most heavily sanctioned and highly scrutinized basketball program of all blindly hire an exposed cheat? I can assure you the UK Administration has thouroughly looked into each and every so-called transgression and blight upon Cal's character prior to hiring him. Shirley they've learned their lesson (see:Sutton, Eddie et al.) by now.
Further, Cal knows the little pissdicks from the NCAA are salivating over the notion of bringing he and his program down. Kentucky + Calipari = white-hot heat from NCAA. They'll probably try and use RICO statutes and shite. Cal is aware of this. Barnhart knows this. Todd (UK president) knows this.
Sandy Bell is quite the stickler, as mentioned.
I expect no real punishment during Cal's tenure because he's either kept his nose clean or exploited the appropriate loopholes. Whatever, it's the nature of the business.
