No, they're not.
"das Gefick" is "frick". If you use a verb as a noun, you put "ge" in front of it and use the neutral tense.
If you wanted to properly say it, you would say:
Kein gefick war gegeben.

Meh. I'd rather have a down season this year and get a good coach at the end of the season than to have hurriedly conducted a coaching search and have hired a shitty coach
