Stetson wasn't clutch... until he was.
Against Bama in 2020 he wasn't clutch (at least not in the second half after getting dinged up). He definitely wasn't against UF either that year (going 5-16 for 78 yards). The first game in 2021 he needed to be clutch in was the SECCG against Bama... where he wasn't. UGA blew everyone else out that year other than Clemson when JT Daniels was starting.
It wasn't until the playoffs that year that Stetson actually started playing clutch football.
It mostly was a matter of experience, not some inborn "clutch ability".

Okay....
I mean he'll likely end up elsewhere if someone beats him out. But that would be after next year. And to be honest we'd probably want to free up the roster spot for a new QB recruit if that happened anyway.

A deep QB pool means only one thing these days. You get the first choice about who plays and who leaves.
