Football is amazing because people take sample sizes of literally a couple of plays and determine that an entire dynasty is dead because of it. Tua made one horrific throw and a Louisiana spy faked an injury to give Clemson a free TD. If those don't happen and Clemson wins by a small margin, people would act totally different towards both programs.

Clemson and Bama have played in the last 4 playoffs. We played 2 games close. Bama kicked our arse in one and Clemson kicked Bama's arse in one. Bama has played for the national title in all 4 games. Clemson played in 3. With all of that said both schools have 55 wins and 2 national titles.
If anyone thinks Bama is taking the backseat think again. Saban is going to be full of piss and vinegar this year and will ride his players and coaches like Hebrew Slaves.
You won't see too many people in Clemson writing Saban off

Well said. Two damb close games and 2 blow outs. Neither team is going any where. I wouldn't be surprised to see round 5 in the playoffs this year.
