But every third or fourth year have it at Turner or in Tampa. Who would that hurt?

Well for one, in Tampa no one will show up. They didn't show up for the basketball tourney, they most definitely won't show up for the baseball tourney.

Also, there's this litte thing of MLB.

A great newly built stadium and the town is nuts about baseball. Has a great tradition of Champions. It seems like a perfect place for the SEC Baseball Tourney.

I'm not sure about the minor league parks in Orlando and Tampa but the one in Jacksonville is sweet.

The Hoover stadium looks like is was spilled by a concrete truck.

The SEC does deserve better for the championship. At least move it until AL can afford to build a nicer place.

Keep it in Hoover. They should never move it.

Honestly, where is it going to draw better ? The only possible place might be Memphis and that is provided Ole Miss,Miss State and Arkansas have great teams that year. A few times of late neither Alabama nor Auburn have even made the SEC-T and attendance has been good.

Its within an even day's drive for every school except Florida and Arkansas. 10 out of 12 is pretty good.

Anywhere in metro Atlanta would be a bust. Unless its Georgia football, the Bulldog fans just aren't going to put the effort in.When the basketball tournament is at the Georgia Dome,Georgia fans' support rivals LSU,Ole Miss or Vanderbilt's.

Anywhere in Florida would be a nightmare. The ACC tournament was in Jacksonville last year. Seeing some of their games on television was like watching a HS playoff game. The attendance there was pitiful.

It should stay at Hoover. The attached RV park makes it worthwhile for me. It's central to all schools - about as central as you can get. It appears to be a bit of a home game when Alabama is playing but it would be a home game to someone regardless of where it is played. I can't think of a better place that is central other than Memphis but I don't know anything about that part of the city. Leave it at Hoover!

The LSU fans were much louder than the Tide fans last Spring in the Saturday game.

I went to a couple of games and it was packed.

Jacksonville wouldn't really work but it has the nicest minor league park in the state.

It would be nice for it to rotate around some though.

Home field advantage does not always ensure victory - especially when LSU was a better team that was Alabama. Look back over the history at the championships being played at Hoover and who has won the most tournaments?

How is Miss State looking this Spring ? I know the SEC and Hoover wants State to make it.

I think all conference championships should have some kind of rotation. Whether it be two different locations or every team gets a chance to host. Why not make it so the conference champion host the next season?
