NO!!! The current system isn't "fine." We need a 8 team playoff. Only somebody that has never played football,or somebody that is so old that they're too set in their way to change would say this system is "fine."

People quit being paranoid, all the ESPN blowjobs in the world won't allow USC to win the AP national championship.
Btw, I like how people discredit USC because of their "hapless Big 11 opponents"... I guess we should discredit Florida and LSU's national championships as well. Dumb.
USC is hated for the same reasons the Yankees, Lakers, and Cowboys are hated. They're media darlings, and they're winners.

The "take care of business or STFU" argument is dumb too.
USC took care of business just about as much as Oklahoma and Florida did. All 3 teams had 1 loss. Florida and Oklahoma had superior schedules, that's why they have better resumes and are worthy national championship participants... but a system where it comes down to "resumes" is stupid. Name one other sport where resume factors, there isn't one (atleast that I can think of).
Everything I've said about USC is applicable to Texas and Alabama as well.
Every year there is 4-6 teams that are capable of winning a national championship, that's why the BCS selecting 2 of them, having them play each other, and declaring the winner the best team in the nation is flawed and irrational.
