According to court documents, Davis called to someone inside the home to bring him a gun. The detailer told deputies Davis was handed a black handgun, pointed it at the locksmith and told him to “look away or keep working.” The detailer said Davis then moved the gun in his direction, which he interpreted as a threat to his life. He said he was able to push Davis off him, calm him down and leave after paying the locksmith, court records state. A Harris County sheriff’s deputy reported observing bruising and visible injuries on the detailer. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted the aggravated assault charge on Aug. 31, according to the filing.
