I'm not trying to bring attention to myself. I'm trying to engage in a legitimate discussion about what that coach said about your football program. If you don't want to engage in that discussion, that's fine, but please stop trying to sidetrack it. Some people come to this board for actual quality conversation. Take your penchant for flaming to another sports board.

The contradicting definitive statements in this thread are hilarious.
Props to the author. Nobody really knows who said what.

I fail to see how this is relevant to the discussion at hand. Yes, when I was in fourth grade I cried reading a book about dolphins. But this is yet another example of an LSU fan throwing out distractions instead of trying to get at the heart of the issue.

No you're not.
Miles is 34-6 over last 3 years. There's an OP on this page where a group of ESPN writers has LSU #3 over next 3 years. One is a fact, the other is a professional opinion. On the other side you have an anonymous quote by a coach that Miles most likely beat regularly, you and Mullen 3:16.
Doesn't that tell you anything?

Just caught your post above mine, solidifying my point.

No, the ESPN article would be a professional opinion as well. Although I think that opinion should carry less weight because the ESPN person is a journalist, whereas the coach has actual experience working in the biz.

Les Miles has never won a national championship without Nick Saban recruits.
yes he has
Really, which one? I hope you're not referring to 2007, because the quarterback that led you to that championship was a Saban recruit, your 2 time All-American and 5th overall pick in the NFL draft after the championship defensive tackle was a Saban recruit, your WR that was drafted in the third round was a Saban recruit. Those are just three off of the top of my head, but I am sure there are more. Face it, without Saban, LSU has 0 BCS national championships.
