The only time there is a "bed" is when they are breeding. IN that case you'll see them on the surface before you get anywhere close (there'll be thousands).
It's like a snake orgy. You cant tell where one begins and the other ends.
I remember years ago hearing about this guy running off the road and his car landed upside down in a creek right on top of a bed of moccasins. They tore his arse up but he survived.
An interesting fact: there has never been a recorded case of a fatal snake bite in the state of MS.

Yes but not likely.

Nope. Snakes won't go inside of something under water. Trust me I know this...my dad has catfish farmed my entire life. We use "boxes" to breed catfish and in the summer have to get in the ponds (27 ponds checked every 3 days) and check over 100 boxes per pond for eggs to take to the hatchery. I've never found a snake in one or known anyone that has. It's a common fear that every guy we hire has that hasn't done it before. Snakes simply won't go in there.

To move this away from snakes.
In your neckspertise, how much mud could a g37 AWD go through.

More than you would think. Once in HS me and some friends bought a beat up Camry for a redneck themed party, painted it like the general lee and were mud riding in it and ramping ditches.
For a 2wd car it could mud pretty good. That car didn't make it through the night

RIP

He was trapped there for about 12 hours before someone found him. I heard he was swoll the hell up from head to toe. Lucky to be alive to say the least.
If it was me all I could think would be "God, I don't know what I did but apparently I really pissed you off"

so how did you end up taking that through 1 ft of mud?

Eh, cars like that are ok. Chicks look ok in em guys look like pretentious pricks in them. Buying coockie cutter cars like that tells me that you don't know much of anything about cars and you just got it because you thought it was "cute". I like cars with personality and that does not mean it has to be a six figure + price tag. Just my two cents worth.

Going to change a tire for a friend. Had to cross a rather deep median. Maybe not a foot, but still.
