I've always kinda wanted to try that, but I kept hearing about people getting bit by water moccasins.
Snakes can't bite you when your in the water with them. This is a fun fact most don't know. They only bite on land

Yeah right. You can believe that shite if you want to but it is not true at all. Snakes eat fish. Do you think the snake talks the fish out of the water so it can eat it? You are less likely to get bitten by a snake in the water because most snake bites occur when humans step on accidentally or frick with them on land. It's hard to slip up on a snake in the water and the usualy gtfo there before you get close enough for them to bite you. But believe you me they can and will bite you under water.

I should have made it more clear...they can bite you but they won't. In open water they will swim away everytime. Only if you provoke them will they bite. You are the bigger animal so their first instinct is to go under and swim off. On land, they feel more exposed and threatened so they remain still to blend in...then you step on them and they feel attacked.

Step into a bed of water moccasins under water and you will get your arse bit.

I've seen Anaconda enough times to know that isn't true at all.

That is correct. However when hand grabbing you are feeling the bottom and under shite shere a snake could very well be. This threatens them and prokes them to protect themselves. People have this notion that a snake bites to try and kill a human when in fact they are simply defending themselves and trying to make you go away.

The only time there is a "bed" is when they are breeding. IN that case you'll see them on the surface before you get anywhere close (there'll be thousands).

Another snake that can bite underwater is a rattlesnake.
