Both left for schools with much larger NIL budgets and better exposure than the schools they left.

Ole Miss is still playing and even when they are finished. Ole Miss does not have significantly less to spend and exposure is the same.

If they were going to LSU, why not enter already and sit out? Why risk injury for a team they have no interest being a part of/wont be playing for next year?

What a question with little thought put into it.
You play for a coach you like at a little bitty school. You’ll never have the opportunity to win big.
The coach you like goes to a big school and asks you to go with him.

Doesn’t take a brain surgeon to understand.

Lane is an a-hole. A self-centered one. That is why he has to rebuild a team every year. Will be interesting to see what he does in BR
