Without the championship game Auburn would be in the playoff.
People want it both ways. If their team isn’t in the conference championship then winning your conference doesn’t matter, but if a team that is top 4 and loses their conference championship then they are knocked out?
They either have to do away with conference championships or change the requirements to get in the CFP.
