You weren't really in control of either of those games. Might as well have been 2 tds. AU destoyed you in every way. It was clear mid thru the 3rd that Bama wasn't winning. Same with LSU.

Alabama had no chance of winning the LSU game down the stretch in 2010. They were down by 10 with 5 & 1/2 minutes left in the game.

Bama led the entire game until late in the 3rd, early 4th. And lost by 3 after some major coverage busts by our young secondary. Try again.

How many plays away was Alabama away from winning a NC in 1989? Bill Curry has always taken shite from most Tide fans, including my step father. He hated that man, but he is a full blown alcoholic so most of his comments have always been taking with a grain of salt.
According to him, the fake field goal they ran against Auburn was the WORST call ever. He also blames Philip Doyle for missing another kick in that game. He still cringes when Kevin Turner fumbled away the ball in that game after a nice strip by Quentin Riggins. Yes, he still watches his copy of that game today. He is still frustrated over John Mangum and Efrum Thomas getting burned by Alexander Wright and Shane Wasden that day.
And they would have won the Sugar Bowl that year if Miami's team speed wasn't better than Alabama's. That was the only thing separating those two teams in that game, according to him. I actually look that as a compliment to Coach Curry seeing how he never complains about the coaching in that game.
Maybe I ought to give him a call and get his take from other seaons were they came up short. Eh?

Wrong. Bama was about to go up 31-0 in the first half before Ingram fumbled the ball and it rolled 20 yards on a straight line out of the back of the endzone. Even still, it Trent catches an easy TD pass in the endzone, we still win. And I won't even mention the fumble that was laying against our OL's foot and he never saw it, or the wounded duck that should have been an easy INT but our safety was playing with a torn peck muscle and couldn't lift his arm. And Bama led most of the game against LSU that year. So wrong on both accounts.
