you know, if you take away that arse beating Alabama took down in Gainesville in 1991, they would not have lost a game that year. Early on in that game, Robert Stewart sacked Shane Matthews for what was clearly a safety. The whole complexion of that game changes if the correct call was made, IMO.

Fantastic point. Stallings should have won 2-3 NC's during his time. Just shows how close Bama is to constant dominance.

Really? Do you really not understand that had Alabama beat LSU in a close game, and AU in a close game...that Bama would have finished FIRST in the West and played in the SECCG, and then likely in the NC game. It's not that hard to understand.
