Your facts are a little off on the Jones position change (shocker). They changed his position because they projected him as a center in college. Just as WR's are sometimes projected as DB's, or TE's projected as LB's.

They didn't call and "ask him if they could so he could be #1"...but they did call and explain the move, and the scouting reports that justified it.

I'll betcha he lines up at center in the Spring.

Tell me again how that's Terrance Toliver's fault?

I'm not in your whole "Terrance Toliver argument," I just thought I would stick up for another one of YOUR players: Jarret Lee.

When is a 6'5 high school OT ever projected as a C? And the fact that Rivals called him validates the love affair.

I guess we'll see where he lines up in April...

he played C in practice all week for one of the all-star games last year. that's where all this initially started. I didnt watch the game, so I cant say (factually) that he played C in the game itself

How Love is little to no threat to start next year on a depleted OL. Not looking good for these supposed 5-stars so far.

You can certainly look at this as a bad thing if you like, but the fact is that with the addition of DJ, Massie(very possible), the JUCO Carpenter, and some other incoming guys, the so called depleted line just may end up very good.

This thread is fricking pathetic. You never know how the guy will perform until he is coached up and actually steps on the field. STFU

Barrett Jones STARTED at Center in the Army All-American Game last year. His performances in the practices leading up to the game, plus his performance IN the game is the reason he was re-evaluated as a Center. How fricking hard is that to understand? Rivals had nothing to do with the position he played at the game, but they did think that after seeing him play the position that he had the POTENTIAL to be the best Center coming out last year. Hell, Reuben Randle played QB this past year. Crazy how none of the recruiting services have him listed as a QB huh?
