They refuse to acknowledge what type of punishments they, as fans, organize and take part in. What they did to Cox was a blot on college football in it's entirety. And it didn't start with him, they did that kind of shite to a lot of players. Ben Leard was one also. The list goes on and on. I've got a pretty good idea who they will crucify this season. Harvey was indeed a man of action, if nothing else. But he was so much else and that included being a proud father of many children, a loving husband, reportedly had the largest penis in the state of Texas and then he made his move to Alabama. His face has a certain dignity to it that suggests classic grit and determination in his personality.
They deserved to have their tree-worshiping disrupted. Cam Newton should not have taunted Harvey like he purposely did. Cam was truly as much to blame as Harv and some people will never seemingly accept that.
