The bigger issue is losing Allen in addition to having also lost Terrell Lewis for the season. That was a huge loss, since Lewis was likely set to have a monster year. This same thing pretty much happened last year to Bama, where they lost like 2 lbs for the year in that first game, and another was dinged up. Those guys were able to return though for the playoff. Will that transfer from Washington be able to come in and contribute? That could be important for depth. That freshman Anoma will probably have to get more snaps I imagine as well.
