If Bama not getting in is the only thing keeping it from happening, Bama should be in.

Galactic melt! Would be hilarious!

You mean the team that could barely get by Texas and Texas AM? If not for the refs, they lose to both.

With the current CPF outcome looking to be a foregone conclusion for the 4 teams that are getting in, I think it would be interesting to see some additional chaos throw in there today just to open up more discussion.

t would not exceed the 1/9/12 melt.

We didn’t melt in 2012. Actual UGA fans were so hardened by Richts 2008-2012 era of getting torched by teams demonstrably more deep and talented in the trenches and elite RPO QBs that just being in the SECC, even with Hope as a date, we knew it’d take Bama meltdown to win. The fact that both teams played lights out blow for blow and ended with what was our best shot, the reaction in the dome and walking out was more of a melancholy ‘I can’t believe how awesome that game was - just 4 yards from completely surprise year Natty’.

LSU has no opportunity of that because the loss that disqualified them was an ACTUAL frickING CHOKE that no 25 year veteran coach should be given a pass on because it’s ‘his first year’ excuse

If that meant our OC and DC were retained I would melt hugely.

Oh, just looking at the board - the melt has already started. Georgia and LSU are currently neck and neck for the melt lead.

Considering there's only like a 10% chance we get in and the board is already melting... site might shut down. It'd be worse than 2011

Bama isn't winning any more titles. Saban has gone soft. He's more interested in writing political letters and disciplining his fans (that pay all the bills) rather than his players (that commit all the penalties).

Now that everyone can buy their own roster, Bama is taking a big step backwards. What a shocker. Most overrated coach in the history of CFB.

The only melting that's going to be happening in the future is by Bama fans. We're going to be seeing a lot of "what happened" and "an era has come to an end" threads really soon.

Remember when UF beat Bama in 2008, without Percy Harvin? Bama wa so scared of UF - McElroy said the scout team was running the UF defense - in the spring for the 2009 season and that they had to spend an entire year to get ready for that game.

This gives you an idea what kind of fraud the Bama program has always been. Buying players, having to spend an entire year for one game plan, needing a complete collapse from another school in order to get the program going.

Bama fans, don't @ me with your nonsense - the weak link in Bama teams since 2008 has always been the backend of the defense - the unit that Saban coaches. Dude just isn't very good.

And now that everyone buys players...the slide back to mediocrity has begun.

He will put the 20 on the helmets and ride off into the sunset.

Your spewing is just what has been repeated after every championship Saban has won. Sometimes a reboot is necessary, this is one of those.
