The Blessing of the Fleet in Bayou LaBatre is pretty cool too. Not sure if they still do this or not.

Another prime example of you guys not having a tourist attraction. Therefore tourist attractions are tourist "traps".

So you don't wish Alabama had something that attracted people from all over that eventually led to the funding of 2 pro sports teams?

I will say this. New Orleans has a distinctly different culture than the rest of the state to the point that it is almost a different state.

Well, it's not in a different state. I know you're from NOLA. But you'll one day have to face the facts that you are from the state of Louisiana.

You could say the same thing about Austin which is where i live now. Yeah there are differences but they tend to be overstated by some.

Also, I'm still waiting on Vidic to say whether or not he'd like to have a city that was attractive enough to have 2 pro sports.

Or would he hate it because it's a "trap".

The same culture as the rest of the south. Country, redneck, farming, hunting, etc..

The same as Alabama.
