We will also have a defense next year, something LSU didn't have this year

I think we had more problems with our Defensive Coordinator than our Defense...

This shouldn't be hard at all...he is OK, but not too much better than Lee...LOL!

If Lee does play next year, he will at least be more prepared and more experienced in what he is doing.
Perriloux screwed us by getting kicked out of LSU.
Leaving Hatch as starter, not Lee...so guess who got more practice time during the summer...Hatch, then he got hurt!
We have Jefferson(who didn't do too bad) and Sheppard coming to LSU. I would be affraid of Sheppard, even as a FR.

So there is no real reason to think that LSU will be better next year then huh? Y'all are hoping that Lee does better and if he doesn't, y'all will have to depend on two other young guys in Jefferson and Sheppard.

IMO, Ole Miss has a better shot at the west next year because LSU and Bama still has some question marks on offense.

Ole Miss will be tough next year - I think their qb is top notch.

Good point....but I have a feeling we will be muh better next year...we pay those coaches too much $$$ to loose...and they know if it happens again, they probably will be unemployed!

Plus, did I mention Russell Sheppard!!! BAD arse!

Sheppard is a great athlete! However, QB is the hardest position to play right away after HS. He will have a tough time adjusting to the defenses in the SEC IMO. He'll be great but I'm not sure how much he can help next year.

+1

Plus, I dont believe Bama's offense is very complicated for a new QB, esp a Jr., to pick up. Bama will be ok at QB next year, but I think their record will not be as good due to improvement from the rest of the SEC, along with losing Smith and Johnson.

Agreed. I think the combo of Jefferson and Sheppard will be great in the future.

I think a 9-3 record would be realistic expectations. However, I wouldn't be surprised to win 10 next year.
