I conceded my point was invalid. So I wish my fellow Bama fans would get off my freaking back. I never said I thought AJ should cheerlead. I'm just surprised he considers the Tennessee game as just another game. Bama used to pump in "rocky top" all week in the weight room and other hate your rival type shite. But those days are over. As long as Bama wins by 35 or more Bama nation will be happy. I remember the dubose years and all the shitty years that followed him. I had no idea the players didn't care about rivals anymore. It is what it is.

Players do care about rivalries, but do you expect him to change his whole game week preperation/mindset so the fans will feel more pumped up or excited? This is one players opinion.
Fans can feel and act however they want towards rivalry games, you shouldnt feel differently about it just because AJ feels that UT is just another speed bump on the way towards the ultimate goal...

would beat us every year. A tie in 1994 then loses in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 2003, 2004 and 2006. Auburn beat our arse from 2002-2007 and Bama had to go blow for blow with them before that. Auburn was damn good. I'm 30 so other than this Saban run and the Stallings years that I can remember, our rivals beat our arse on the regular.
That's why the UT and AU games are huge for me.

I am a little older than Hater Bait and remember watching and praying to beat UA before '95. I know "UT fans" that considered the gayturds our main rival after we had beaten Bama three years in row. They did not understand the history between the two programs nor does this younger generation of SEC fans. I can understand this mentality due to UT's recent inability to compete on a regular basis. However, UA vs UT will always be THE GAME. So here's to you Hater Bait, a Bama fan that I can respect and Hate at the same time. Hoping for an injury free and competitive game on Saturday.

Saw a pic of The Ole Ball Coach with the caption, "You cant spell upset without UT." Not really a caption that I like, but at this point I'll take it.

Tennessee will lose this game, but you guys will be back. Alabama has been where you are at. I just hope both teams play a clean game Saturday. No dirty play with mutual respect on both sides.
I also hope both fan bases keep it classy and I hope the Vols enjoy Tuscaloosa, even in defeat.
