In 2008 Alabama got left out of the BCS with a heartbreaking loss in the SECCG. They posted the Gator score on every wall in the athletic facility. When Tebow and the gang came back for their senior season to go for historic status, winning 3 NCs in 4 years, it didn't matter. And the Bama dynasty began.
The Aggies were beaten out of nothing that they were owed. If Jimbo has that program truly percolating, they should hang that #5 ranking all over the practice facility and remind the players, ad nauseam, every single day, that it wasn't good enough.

Just because they were given a spot doesn’t mean it was earned. And that a huge issue for me with the system not being exclusive enough. LSU had already beat Bama and should not have been given a rematch in the playoffs
