A&M has always been known as having rich alums. Goes back to the 1960's. But in modern times, last 20 years, everybody has money but most of us have the tradition of winning championships. You do win on occasion and break long losing streaks in the SEC to power 5 teams. You may pay your head coach more than other coaches but you face the same Sec schedule and until you dominate, at least for one year, history will keep repeating itself.

You would think a&m learned from daddy Texas that money does not equal wins. But no Aggy still here beating they chest without the wins. They last conference championship was 21 years ago and they backed into that game with luck. This why a&m is mocked... They are arrogant like Texas without the history of winning. And having gay traditions doesn't help the cause.

Its revenue figures over this time have been helped by massive donation amounts

So you get revenue with donations and the real big boys do it with actual revenue.

Help me out, do revenue dollars go further than donated dollars?

They’re earned. Some universities get the big donations for things like cancer centers.

The presence of an Ohio State fan on this board just helps validate that the SEC West is the meatgrinder of college football. Everybody knows it.
