For the OP, yes, all Aggies appreciate what just happened. All though, I think it was a two way street. I think the SEC valued what we can bring and we valued the type of conference the SEC is and what it can do for us.

They're very a good fit for the conference...semi geographically, tv market wise, recruiting wise, academically. I just don't like their culture. They seriously are some sort of weird cult, and you'll get more and more tired of their traditions the more times they tell you about them, and they think theirs are better. They might even claim that they invented "tradition." What can I say, I just don't like A&M.

Out of curiosity, how many times have you been to games at Kyle Field or even on A&M's campus?

I am very familiar with A&M. I actually grew up an aggie my whole life, grew up in La Porte TX and had season tickets there for years. I ended up going to LSU though because it was cheaper (even out of state) and have not looked back since. When you are apart of the aggie cult (yes, it really is like a cult) it is the greatest thing ever. But when you finally look at it from the outside it is so strange/annoying. It was a lot of fun playing them in the cotton bowl though I remember being there and singing the words to the war hymn in my head, really glad we kicked there arse.

With that said though I for one am glad to see them coming to the SEC because they do bring a lot to the conference outside of football.
