1998 is the last time UTjr won the SEC, it has nothing to do with a national title.

I turned 14 that year. It was nice, we had cell phones and the internet but they didn't control our life like they do now. And the world hadn't gone full retard yet.

Yet still not nearly as long as 40 plus years or whatever UGA's was before bowl cuts was hired.
I do believe Heupel will be our flashier version of Mark Richt.
Bring in some great seasons here and there but always lose one or two that he shouldn't with a shot at a NC here and there. Until he manages to hires a real DC and put together a complete team that's my opinion. Still a massive upgrade from our previous hires though.
