This could be the dumbest fricking sentence I've ever read on this site.
the funny thing is....i don't think he realizes why it's so stupid.

Probably pastel shorts with Vineyard Vines polo because when I think of Cape Cod I also think of Oxford.
Thats why I dont really care for VV. Thats for yankee frat stars, but it is still acceptable in the south.

My point: you can buy the shite at an outlet, same with Ralph Lauren.

yea you can also buy shite on ebay too. I agree though with Ralph Lauren. I had to throw it in there, but its not very frat if you can buy it at stores like Belk and TJ Max. But besides outdoor stores like Kavu and Patagonia, Ralph Lauren is the only company that makes shorts that dont go down to your knees.

Southern Tide ftw.
I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like BB.

When you get into the professional world, BB will be your best friend. Best dress shirts, ties, and suits you can get for the price.

Well ST does make the best polo's and BB's are made for unatheltic types, but BB is still extremely frat. Its not very good for casual clothes, but nothing beats a BB blazer or tie. Their french cuff shirts are also my favorite. I understand where you are coming from though.

I guess in my old age of 29 I've grown tired of frat stars, probably because I live so close to SMU and they invade my favorite bars like a swarm of locusts every weekend. I put them on the same level of annoyance as hipsters, I can tolerate them but only in small doses. It's odd because I was in a fraternity, not a frat star but def followed some of the trends as an undergrad.
Now the only frat thing I wear is Brooks Brothers, mostly because their ties and non iron dress shirts are the shite.

I think Whereisomaha is referring to the professional frat boys. No stinkin' outlets for them...those guys do work, son..

Youre too old for the new up and coming companies. Not that you wouldnt like them just they werent around when you were in school. In the past 5 years Southern Tide, Proper, Marsh, and Point came about. Hell most of them just started 2 years ago. VV is only a decade old as well.

All these new frat brands are too heavy on the pastels and patterned polos. I guess I'm old school, I still prefer a good old fashioned solid colored Polo shirt.

I have few BB button downs and they are rather nice, but I do like my RL sport coat better than my BB. I'm really more of a Harris Tweed coat person though.
