So if LSU had beaten Clemson and A&M had lost to OU....do think A&M would still be ranked higher?

You're presenting a hypothetical scenario where A&M was a worse team, and LSU was a better team. If LSU was better than A&M, maybe they wouldn't have lost to Clemson, but LSU wasn't a top ten team last year, so why are you arguing that hypothetical?
