We’ve won 3 national championships, same as LSU so to say “no one has ever won at A&M” isn’t really accurate
Now they were before my father was born so to say “no one has won at A&M in the modern era” might be a fair assessment

If you do go by the National Championship Foundation and the Sagarin Rankings (which are the two that Aggie uses to claim those two extra titles), LSU could also claim 1908 and 1936.
It's pretty embarrassing for aTm to go back and claim those titles.

In 1908, LSU outscored their opponents 442-11. Actually a much larger point differential per game than aTm in 1919.
The best football wasn't played in the south back then. Not close. It is ridiculous for aTm to claim a title that season.
