No....your talking about another year you lost to Wyoming . I'm talking about the year they went 4-8 overall and 1-7 in the MWC.

We lost to them in Cutcliff's last year(0 talent, bad coaching) and Orgeron's first year(0 talent, HORRIBLE coaching.
But still better than losing to Maine

If Dinkle Dawg is a TRUE State fan (and I believe he is) he would never agree with number 8 about cowbells. Cowbells are part of Mississippi state as much as Hold that tiger is to LSU and Hotty Toddy is to Ole Miss.
Yeah but those 2 are actually pretty good; you are one of 2 teams in the SEC where no one can tolerate yalls cheers (Tennessee being the other since they drive Rocky Top straight into the ground).
Seriously, if yall had any sense you would follow Ole Miss' lead and get rid of the god damn cow bells like we got rid of bringing Confederate flags in the stadium.

This is why they do it.....To annoy the shite out of us. Same thing with Hotty Toddy. Our cheer is sort of an "in your face!" cheer towards opponents. The entire point of the cheer is to make opposing fans pissed off and regret showing up....
That being said.....Nothing can compare with cowbells in embarrassing the SEC

3.You won't make fun of other teams for their losses b/c we have had worse times
This one I really don't agree with. What better way to make fun of an arrogant fanbase undergoing hard times than by being made fun of by an MSU fan? It's beautiful, in a way...

I agree with this. It's just like being "Croomed". MSU fans embraced this word.
A coach getting "Croomed" means that you lost to a team so bad that it warrants getting fired.

This is like comparing apples and oranges. I cant believe anyone would compare getting rid of a symbol many people (African-Americans) find as offensive and comparing it to a Cowbell WTF????

Yeah, but the thing is if you aren't playing them directly, you can still have a good time shouting another teams cheer. Could you ever imagine yourself having a good time ringing a cowbell in a stadium?

Regardless if it is offensive or not, it put out a bad public image for us and we were the laughing stock of the SEC for bringing those things in the stadium. The cowbells do the exact same thing for yall. Get rid of them, its common sense. If I were Mullen getting off that plane and saw an assload of rednecks with cowbells ringing and "Dan the Man" posters, I'd probably walk right back on that plane.
