It is actually not difficult at all. The conferences should EXPAND to 16 teams each. Each conference has 4 divisions of 4 teams. Each division winner makes the conference playoff and the conference winners make the national playoff.
Conferences included are:
Big Ten Conference.
Southeastern Conference.
Atlantic Coast Conference.
Big 12 Conference.
Pac-12 Conference.
American Athletic Conference.
Mountain West Conference.
Mid-American Conference
That kicks off the college football playoff with 8 four team conference playoffs. After the conference playoff are over, there are 8 teams left.
