Ole Miss has been to 8 sugar bowls and 2 cotton bowls that would have been considered time bowls (no counting the 3 cotton bowls over the last decade). The 3 gator bowls pre 1991 could be considered pretty major as well.

Bowl games are viewed much differently now than they used to be.
Winning the Car Care Bowl, really means squat.
Would Ole Miss fans trade your BBVA Compass Bowl win for the Arkansas BCS bowl berth? I'd imagine so.

Agreed that Sugar Bowls are major, but Ole Miss hasn't been to the Sugar Bowl in 44 years.
